Why did the Russian monarchy fall?

In the late 1800s, The standard Russian public was gowing increasingly upset over czar Nicholas II's monarchy government. The first revolution took place during 1894, and failed miserably. There were more revolutions throughout the early 20th century, mainly led by Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. In 1905, Lenin was forced into exile by the Rusian government and did not return until 1915. When he did, he began organizing his political party, the Bolsheviks (although they weren't called that). In 1917, the communist revolution took place, and czar Nicholas II and his family was murdered. (sort of like the Romanov family massacre). Between this and 1922, power shifted between the Bolsheviks (led by Lenin) and the Mensheviks, which had less power. 1922 came along and Lenin created a unified, communist Russia which would last of 67 years after Lenin's death in 1924.

The king of Russia, Czar Nicholas, was very corrupt. The people of Russia were starving and poor while the royal family was bathing in riches. In 1905, people marched to the winter palace and peacefully asked for the Czar to help his people, but the Czar ordered for his men to fire on the protestors. This day is now known as bloody sunday, and it sparked the Russian revolution and created a new country, the Soviet Union.

It didn't "end." Lenin and the Bolsheviks renamed it the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), or Soviet Union.
