Well, the stress of US Economy, all started last year with CNBC announced that Freddie Mac & Fannie Mae, were going to be bankrupt. (This is one of the reasons) The reason why, Chrysler, and GM, are going bankrupt, is because Chrysler and GM's car sales are too pricy for residents of the United States to buy them. However, instead of Chrysler & GM, are going bankrupt, those two companies should've just lowered the prices on their vehicles. I have one family member, that told me that he is glad that Chrysler & GM are going bankrupt. Why? The reason why, that family member told me that he is glad that Chrysler & GM are going bankrupt is because: -most of the Chrysler & GM employees are derogatory terms and they did not graduate from high school, or they dropped out of the 8th grade. -most of the Chrysler & GM employees get paid to much money.
The US economy faced stress after President Obama's election due to the severity of the 2008 financial crisis. His administration had to deal with the aftermath of the crisis, including widespread job losses, a decline in housing prices, and a fragile banking sector. The economic stress was already present before Obama took office, and his policies aimed at mitigating the effects of the crisis.

All presidents have been elected to some government office, but Gerald Ford was the only one who was never elected as vice president or president. He did serve as a congressman, but was appointed, not elected, as vice president by Richard Nixon and took office after Nixon's resign without election.
