I looked it up in my Social Studies book:

Both the French and the British wanted the Ohio River Vally land. So, they both fought over it, and whoever won, could keep it.

Sadly, the government said that neither the French nor the British could cross over to the Valley. None of them ended up keeping the land.

Why did most Indians fight with the french against the british and its American colonists in the french and Indian war?

The French colonists treated the Native Americans with A LOT more respect than the other colonists did (including British colonists). The NAs would have rather had no colonization on their land at all, but given the choice to defend the peaceful French territory or fight alongside the British (who wanted to acquire that territory) it was an easy decision for them to make.

How did the relationship between Britain and the colonists fall apart?

The British took the colonists out to dinner and that caused the colonists to really open up to them, they had a couple bottles of wine and found that they had a lot in common. Before you know it they were both back at the colonists place and the british were really hitting the colonists hard, but the colonists took it like champs and when the british ran out of seamen they returned home never to bother the colonists again.

Following the French and Indian War did the British and Americans become close allies?

At the time, Americans were British! They were British colonists! Of course they were allies! The British colonists in America wanted French land and Great Britain wanted to take over the fur trade in North America.
