Why were the great pyramids of Egypt build?

As tombs for the Pharaohs so that he could join the gods in the night sky. The ancient Egyptians believed that their king was an incarnation of the sun god who must be appeased. By building a pyramid the Pharaoh was ensuring prosperity for the Egyptians.

Did aliens build the pyramids?

yes. this may sound crazy but trust me there is a lot of evidence that would point to this conclusion; the ancients were not capable of building such great monuments, even current technology could not reproduce them with the accuracy with which they were built. there is also no hieroglyphs anywhere on the pyramid, and Egyptians put hieroglyphs EVERYWHERE. the current theory about how and why the pyramids were constructed is not logical. supposedly the pyramids were built as tombs, but if that were so you would expect to find a mummy or something inside right? no such thing was ever found an any pyramid. also the pyramids they say had to be built in 20 years, so if you do the math for that the Egyptians would have had to place a block approximatley every 5 seconds. the final proof is simply that they said that they didn't build them, but that the "sun gods" came down from the sky and built them. for more information: Nassim Haramein on youtube

They built the pyramids themselves as tombs to their Pharaohs. If you looked at all the pyramids from a birds eye view, (from the sky) you would see that they positioned the pyramids just right so that they would chart the sun.

The eyptian built the pyramids because the kings (pharoahs) wanted to show everyone how great they were. The peak (top) of the pyramid was meant to be the "stariway to heaven".
