The Great Compromise allowed the Framers of the Constitution to create?
The framers of the US Constitution had their differences, but they also had some things they agreed on. Some of these were the need to allow the people to have a voice in how they were governed and to include a series of checks and balances in the system of government.
so that they can change it when ever they want.
The framers put clauses in the Constitution to allow for amendments to be made if specific issues should arise once the federal system was implemented. They also allowed for parts of the Constitution to be interpreted in different ways.
Because people might have different ideas to add to it.Because of a few things. Number one is that many of the framers viewed the powers of the constitution as more or less numerated. That is, if it didn't say that the government could have a certain power it was denied to them. So to give a power to the government they would need to pass an amendment. Secondly, they wanted it to belong to the living, not the dead and allow changes to be added as needed.
The framers of the Constitution were wise to provide a way for the document to be amended. They realized that society would change as time passed, and new issues they could not foresee might come up. So, the framers made the Constitution changeable, but hard to do so, so that it could not be changed on a whim.
If the Constitution isn't adapted to the times in which we live, then it can't be applied to many present day circumstances (such as recording industry copyright law, internet commerce issues, and many, many others). The Founding Fathers could not have anticipated the internet, for example. Thus, the Constitution must keep up with the times via Supreme Court rulings and interpretations, as well as amendments to the Constitution itself.
Revise and change the Constitution.
The concept of government that the framers favored was the republic form. This was the form of government that would allow the people to appoint those they wanted to represent them into government positions.
establish its own constitution
To allow the Government to do things now that the constitution doesn't allow, because the constitution is from many centuries before. They need to update it.
