There is a Relay for the Power Door Locks, which I purchased today from Checker Auto parts, but I can not find where the relay is located. I am assuming or hoping that it is the Relay for both the Door Locks and Power Windows.
I would check the wire harness and conectors to the doors because the poswer locks, windows, and mirrors are all conected through that harness.
You need to check your fuses.
Check to make sure that the windows haven't popped off the track. This would cause the windows in your 2002 Envoy to become stuck and not go down. If you replaced the driver's side master power switch and the locks work but the windows just make a clicking sound, this could help.
Device Manager
There are window locks that allow you to open the window a little. Many new standard windows come with this feature.
You have a broken wire in the harness that runs to the drivers door. Look near the hinges for the door, the problem will be in that harness.
could be a whole lot of things I would start checking fuses then check connection on battery then check ground wires for tears or even if it is still bolted to the frame. but to me it sounds like a loose connection probably to the battery terminal.
What is the atmosphere/environment of this occupation? (Outdoors, indoors, working with people, working alone, etc.)
check your relay or your fuses. if the fuses are good replace the relay (under 10 bucks) if things still don't work try replacing your switches.
The 2005 Dodge Caravans have software problem in the BCM that causes the power locks to quit working. The only fix is to bring the van to a dealer for a software flash update.I disconnected the battery cable and pulled the BCM fuse and the system reset and the door locks are working fine again.I also got my power door locks working. I pulled and reinstalled (but did not replace) all fuses and fuse blocks (but not the relays). The locks started working after that.I'm not sure if I'm using this site correctly as I'm new, but I found that disconnecting and reconnecting the lamp and horn relays fixed my same issue with the locks.Several people suggested resetting the fuses under the hood, and it worked. Others tried unplugging and plugging back in the battery and that also worked for them.I tried the suggestions and it worked for a short time, but now the locks are not working again. Funny thing is that the rear hatch locks still work, but all passenger and driver locks do not. Time to take it in and have a pro fix them? Resetting the fuses and relays doesn't help anymore.
The 2 locks that are still in use today is the Poe and the MacArthur locks.!!
