It was ironic because Johnny and Ponyboy were the least dangerous in the gang
Ponyboy is a good kid overall. He is a greaser, but he's not into fighting like the rest of them. He's actually really sensitive and smart, but he tends not to show it. He likes to draw and talks about sunsets throughout the book. He also loves the book Gone with the Wind.
He doesn't say it as in trying to be mean, he says it because he doesn't want Ponyboy to get rough like the rest of the gang.
The Bullies Have All Gone to Rest was created in 1998.
Ponyboy lost his parents, as we all know, but he had to move on not only to heal but to get on with the rest of his life. Darry told Ponyboy that because Pony has to overcome losing someone close to him again, but Ponyboy was not doing that.
The foundation of Christianity... i didnt get to read the rest sorry i hope this helps lol
