Ponyboy is a good kid overall. He is a greaser, but he's not into fighting like the rest of them. He's actually really sensitive and smart, but he tends not to show it. He likes to draw and talks about sunsets throughout the book. He also loves the book Gone with the Wind.

I do. I think he kind of resembles the struggle every kid goes through and its kind of like a background life of an "gang" who turn out to be the best of friends
