It's a Taiwanese last name. But then you can say that it's Chinese too. It's complicated. The majority of Taiwanese people's ancestors are Chinese, hence they carry Chinese surnames. The reason why Kuo is only seen on Taiwanese people is because only Taiwan spells it that way.
Only certain people were allowed to live there. It was forbidden to the rest of the Chinese people.
To be honest, Chinese people are normally taller than Janpanese people. ^ Don't be absurd. Only the northern Chinese are taller than Japs on average. Other Chinese are shorter. Overall male average height for China is 170cm (5ft 7in) and Japan 172cm (5ft 7.75in). Female average heights would be 158cm (5ft 2in) and 159cm (5ft 2.5in) respectively.
I can only imagine it means Chinese Noodles
Only in that China is located on the continent of Asia. Not all Asians are Chinese. But all Chinese are Asian. It's an ethnic group and nationality, sharing a language (though many different dialects), and culture.
People of Asian origin have different genes (just as we all do) that make them naturally small and slender. Asian people also have a faster metabolism rate (rate of digestion) meaning they absorb food quicker. The theory about Asian people doing more work is only a partly contributing factor.
Only ignorant people would assume every Asian person is Chinese as opposed to Japanese, Korean, Mongolian, Taiwanese, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Laotian, Yupik Eskimo, etc. In addition, it would be very ignorant to assume that all of them do the same thing; just as ignorant as saying all white people do the same thing.Ignorant people would not have heard of some of the lesser-populated countries.

It's only recommended to the Australian's ideas so that they either love it or hate it. This is a survey for Australian people (person who was born in Australia) not the cultural people.
All south Asian ('brown people') and southeast Asian people originate from china. However, South Asia was once part of Africa but it broke away and joined Asia. The people of that broken land mixed with the Chinese and through years and years the 'brown people' were created. South east Asia in fact actually does have a bit of African ancestry but majority is Chinese. The only Asians that have barely any Han Chinese in them would be the Koreans and Japanese. Koreans came from Siberians. The Koreans went over to japan and the Japanese were 'created'. ALL ASIANS ARE RELATED TO THE CHINESE IN SOME WAY. SOUTHEAST ASIA AND CHINA ARE CLOSEST. NEXT IS CHINA AND SOUTH ASIA. THIS THEREFORE MEANS 'BROWN PEOPLE' ARE MORE RELATED TO THE CHINESE THAN KOREANS AND THE JAPANESE. Koreans and Japanese of now may have some Chinese in their ancestry but Koreans and Japanese people would say they are the only 'Pure' Asians.
most Chinese people don't know it. I guess only Chinese historians know...
only when prompted
