You shouldn't be having multiple periods when on Birth Control pills. You need to see your Doctor about this. It's possible the birth control you're on isn't suitable for you so a change of birth control may be advisable.

If you're on birth control pills you don't get a period full-stop - you no longer have a menstrual cycle - you get a withdrawal bleed during your placebo week. You can have irregular bleeding for the first three months on an new birth control, but if this is outside that time period see your doctor.

The pill does not stop you from having your period. Having lighter periods or skipping some are normal. But you should still have your period otherwise you may be pregnant.
