They wash their hands and feet in a washing room annexed to the mosque.
yes muslimes do somthing caleed whudhoo which cleans you
to prepare for prayer
You don't have to. While you can go to a mosque for different reasons, Muslims usually go to offer prayers. Wudoo' (ablution) is a prerequisite for offering a prayer, that;s why they do so.
Hands, mouth, face, top of your hair and feet
The washing area in a mosque is called the Wudu
They don't. The only requirement in Judaism to wash the feet before worship, is for the Kohanim in the Holy Temple (which is no longer standing). See Exodus ch.30. It is Muslims who wash their feet before entering a mosque.
they need to wash there hands to each for refreshments
Yes. This is what Muslims go into to wash their bodys before they pray.
You don't have to do that when you enter a mosque only when your about to pray or do something like that. Also, its not just your feet you have to perform a washing ritual in which you rinse your hands, arms, mouth, nose, face, ears, neck, and feet, I think. And it's so that your clean when you pray, read Koran, fast, whatever
Holy Book: Their Holy Book is the Qur'an. Worship: They gather in front of the Mosque and wash their hands and feet. Then, they enter the Mosque recite key Qur'anic verses (like Surat al-Fatiha). They will occasionally prostrate themselves on the ground during this recitation. On Fridays, the Imam will usually give a sermon. After this they depart. This is supposed to occur five times a day every day.
The mosques is an extremely sacred place for the Muslims. It is meant for worship of Almighty Allah, learning or reciting of the Qur'an, or remembrance of Almighty God. The Muslims keep it neat and clean. The Muslims come to pray, but they have to do ablution (wash their hands, mouths, nose, feet etc) before offering prayers. That is the purpose of washing area. It is NOT a part of the mosque. Shoe racks are for placing shoes as they may be dirty. Racks should be placed out of the Mosque Room.
A mosque wash room is where Muslims go and do ablution (Wudu) if needed. This means that are allowed to pray (do Salat) in front of their god, Allah. They go into the wash room; if needed; before they enter the main part of the mosque and pray.
Every mosque has a place where worshippers may ritually cleanse themselves before entering to pray. they have to be clean before facing Allah.
I don't know about Hindu's but Muslims wash their feet as far as the ankle 3 times as part of Wudu (the washing pattern completed before offering prayer).
