Why do all new messages in Yahoo Mail go directly to the trash folder?

Somehow you have set it up to do that. Go into your mail and the settings. You will find several options on how you want your mail to be treated. Click on the setting you want to the folder you want it to go to. From that point on it shouldn't go to trash/spam.

∙ 8y agoI have never heard of any emails going directly to trash. However many DO go to SPAM if your computer sees certain words or phrases that indicate spoofs, advertising or scams. Spam folders hold those emails until you can scan them and reject or accept them.

∙ 8y agoThey are probably considered spam by your e-mail service. You can probably mark the messages as "not spam" or "safe." If not, then you may need to find some kind of "rules" and "filters" section where you can change where they go. The other reason this might happen is similar, but perhaps these messages are being receive into a "spam" folder first, then after a set amount of time, are moved to the "Deleted" folder.
