Most animals from reptiles to mammals have 4 legs or limbs (even people). It's just that our front legs and front feet (our arms and hands) are specialized. Birds have very specialized front legs too (wings) as do bats (again, wings). Even though many animals have four legs and no hands doesn't necessarily mean they are worse off than us. Almost all four legged animals of about human size can run much faster and for a longer distance than we can. Ever try to catch a dog that doesn't want to be caught? If the dog is in reasonable shape, you won't be able to. Four legged animals have a longer stride than two legged people. The longer stride translates into a faster run than we can accomplish. On the plains of Africa, being able to outrun the lions or hyenas is pretty important, so most animals there run on 4 legs.
The ancestors of human beings traveled on all four limbs. One theory is that a change in climate and, therefore, landscape/vegetation led humans to begin walking upright, although apparently gorillas didn't feel the same way about it. The incentive to do so must have been very powerful, given that walking on one's hind limbs requires significant changes in anatomy, leads to back problems and makes childbirth painful, difficult and dangerous.
"Four legs good, two legs bad" is a slogan used by animals such as sheep in George Orwell Animal Farm. The "two legs" in the slogan refers to the humans.
The chickens felt offended that "two legs are bad", clearly because they only have two legs. But Snowball reassured them that they are considered equal with the animals because wings can be considered as "legs". Therefore, they have four legs, including their two wings. What separates humans from animals physically, Snowball says, is hands. Only humans have hands.
Humans have 2 legs.
once we humans evolved from monkeys at that time our organs became complex in working and muscles grew stronger in our legs so we stood up and even we can observe that conditions in some animals to like polar bears which have strong legs and even in the future they my walk on two legs
Humans are animals. Humans are mammals and mammals are animals. Everyone should know that! Firstly, animals and humans both have the same cells. Mammals (like elephants) and humans both give birth to young. They can both stand on two legs or four.
Any of the hominids (monkeys, apes, humans) are among the animals that have two legs and one backbone.
Monkeys have two legs and two arms.
