People are destroying the penguins home. We are causing the ice to melt which is their home. If we keep this up soon their will be no penguins left on our planet.
it is basically because of greenhouse gases. the earth is getting hotter so it melts the ice in antarctica. The krill that the penguins feed on live in the ice, in bubble which have algae which the krill feed on. but because there is less ice, the krill die meaning the penguins go hungry.
Yes penguins have wings, however, they are more evolved as flippers for swimming and are useless towards flying. This is also why any pictures of penguins in the water look like they are "flying" in the water.
