Boys are in the position of having to be the one who goes after the girls. If they only went after one girl at one time, and they were turned down, then they would have to start over from scratch by finding a new girl and starting all over again. Think about it like this. If a girl only talked to one boy at a time until that boy decided to tell her if hel liked her or not, wouldn't that take forever to find a boyfriend?

They probably dont really have serious feelings for either and they just want to have fun and loook cool!! Guys like to have there options open! so by playing around with 2 girls they feel like they have a backup.
