Your amp is probably to small, get a bigger amplifier and it probable wont do it
depends on the peak and the ohm..your speakers could be blown also.
A mini saw-zahl will be the best tool to cut speak holes in your car.
it problably has to do with the amplifier, which is what provides the power to them. this means that it is not able to go this loud so it will shut the connection if nessecary.
unscrew speakers cut of connector connect wires to speakers screw speakers in replace cover done
Why do my rear speakers cut off
If you cut down about 10 the volume goes down 5 if you cut 9 its 4 if you cut 8 its 3 if you cut 7 its 2 if you cut 6 its 1 But if you cut 5 or LESS No volume goes down!
Correct STOCK size is 5" x 7" for front and rear speakers. You have to cut the doors metal to make 6x9 speakers fit. REFERENCE : http://www.modifiedlife.com/1999-ford-explorer-car-radio-stereo-wiring-diagram/
Most likely cause is that the rev limiter has cut in.
The audio signal to the speakers are not cut off since the connection to the front panel and speakers are in parallel.
idk rear or front speakers..... i believe the speakers are 6 and 1/2 front and back if its rear speakers then u can probably cut bigger holes in the rear... You don't need to cut the wires at all, I just got mine installed in 5 minutes with the adapter speaker plug, I got them from Amazon for 16 bucks but you save a lot of time and you don't mess the wire system of your car with the black tape and stuff.
it is a 1991 handa accord dx and the holes for the speakers arent round or oval. i cut the carpeting off the holes and 6.5s wont sit down all the way. this car did not come with any rear speakers. is there a mount or a spacer that is used on like an lx model that came with rear speakers that i need?
Take the door pannels off of the interior of door, unscrew stock speakers, cut speaker wire, attach new speakers to the wires
