cats and dogs whiskers serve the same purpose that a bugs antenna do. Imagine this. Close your eyes and put four fingers on each cheek. Walk around. You don't bump your face into anything, because your fingers hit whatever you would've bumped into. This is what a cats whiskers are like. Of course, cats aren't blind,but it is just another sense of whats going on!
Yes, if they bite hard it tends to bruise rather than break the skin though. However, they very rarely bite hard, sometimes they like to nibble your fingers in the same way they clean another chinchilla.

Well first you get some really sticky glue or anything like that and put some on your fingers (just a dab) then u press down hard and hold it for.....2min at least but if it still didn't work hold it on longer then that. does that answer you peoples question?
