They like to be near people, and being on chairs puts them more at eye level. (yeahh my aunty has a cat and there is only my aunty and her husband and the cat in the house but when they sit outside they have to put out 3 chairs (1 for he cat) this is because she has become so attached to them and likes to be around them)
