Cats normally do not hiss or spit unless they feel highly threatened. Much of the sounds you hear during a cat fight are intended to make the other cat scared enough to back down and go away. Cats fight much more through making sounds than by physical attacks.
No. Cats do not produce venom.
Not usually, but they can get Rabies, which is contagious if they bite you or if their spit enters through open skin (a cut).
no it is not because cats carry a certain bacteria in their spit, scent and so on, though it is harmless to cats it is DEADLY to birds- yes all birds
Why do you think cats have claws and teeth? They are for hunting, but also are used in combat. First a cat will look threatening, puff out and hiss and spit. If that fails, a fight will start. If it feels it is loosing, it will flee.
Because cats lick themselfs to be clean. Their rough tongue catches unruly hairs, but it doesnt spit them out, it just swallows them. THis is why you should brush your cat so he/she doesnt have to lick their fur clean.
let me spit on youlet me spit on youlet me spit on youlet me spit on youlet me spit on youlet me spit on youlet me spit on you
because they are probably 1) scared of them or 2) allergic to them. if you didn't know, when you are allergic to a cat, you are actually allergic to their saliva, because the cats lick themselves and their spit gets all over their hair. See Why do people hate cats for a much better answer.

Joe Spit goes by Joe Spit.
They spit
no they do not spit poison
Camels do not spit unless they are agitated or upset, and they really don't spit at all because what they spray is not saliva.
