Why do co-workers in the business world act so fake?

* Because, co-workers in the business world don't know how to act like people because they pretty much aren't. * Not all coworkers are fake, but do try to do their job well if they have high esteem within themselves. However, there are certainly those that don't mind back-stabbing or climbing the ladder of success by leaving a trail of bodies ... coworkers! This sort of action often works to a degree, but just for a short while. Some business' like to have those that are 'the rats' of the industry to keep a finger on the pulse of what is going on with the employees, but, Management does not respect these type of people and eventually they are replaced or not considered for higher positions in the company. Some companies use psychological tactics to get the most out of their employees, but the kicker is ... many employees have already realized this and psychology doesn't work as well as it use too on the employees. We are all chameleons to a degree in business and most individuals want to be successful, but it's important to know within yourself to climb that ladder of success in a clean manner, but also to be wise enough to watch your back. Consider the business world as one large meaty bone and everyone wants a piece of that bone. Some employees will cheat and use people to get what they want, while others work hard and have enough faith in themselves to be smart enough to have a good relationship with coworkers, work extra hard to climb that ladder and never be afraid to bring new ideas to Management.
