With materials still being plentiful, companies are often in the position that they have to use virgin materials as they are cheaper.

This means that the person working really hard to make your product might have been paid a tiny wage to work 7 days a week. Wages can sometimes be less than £4 for 12 hours a day, 7 days a week!
