The bottoms of the cookies will continue to bake because the cookie sheet will still be hot. If you leave the cookies on the sheet too long after being taken out of the oven, the cookies' bottoms will burn and stick to the baking sheet.
Stick 'em Jerry shut down production in '84.
The "perfect" cookie
Did you use soft margarine, stick butter always works best for me.
The easiest way is to take a pinch of sugar in your hand and just lightly sprinkle it over the cookies after they come out fo the oven. If tou do it while they are hot, the sugar will disolve. Once they have cooled, the sugar won't stick. So it is best to wait a small amount of time and sprinkle the sugar on when the cookies are still warm (but able to be handled easily) so that they sugar crystals will stick, but will still remain mostly in their own form.
You can separate cookies (once cooled and all) with waxed papers. In fact, it is good to do so (usually) because things are less likely to stick to waxed papers.
They can NOT eat human cookies however i'm sure you can find treat recipes online. One of my favorites: pour bird seeds on a plate and cover an end of a popcycle stick with honey then dip!
No, use the same amount.
There are a few key ways in which proper cooling affects the qualities and characteristics of cookies. First, cookies that are properly cooled are less likely to stick to the baking sheet. Second, cookies that are properly cooled are less likely to be overcooked or burnt. Third, properly cooled cookies are less likely to crumble or break when being handled. Finally, cookies that have been properly cooled will have a more consistent texture and flavor.
