They don't hate us; they're just doing their job. They actually don't want us to hurt ourselves or others, because then the land owners could get sued for letting us skate and getting injured. So, land owners actually may hate us, and the cops get paid to stop us.
Well that's it for the most part. They are just doing there jobs. People say skaters are just smart-asses that don't give, but not all of us are like that. I for example skate using physics and common sense. so skating is a good thing if you think about it. people are just worried about kids or people around getting hurt and them suing. so cops come to stop us or just tell us to get away. the only reason they come is because the people inside are busy and the police are the only law force around. so its really just doing there job. but some cops do hate skaters. alot of the time nicer places have stair sets and rails and ledges so we skate there since its the best place in town. and police have to stop what they are doing and come to get us just to say you cant skate here. wouldn't you be mad if you had to drive across town to say one sentence then get talked back to by some kid with skinny jeans and a flanell. i mean seriously its a waste of time. so ya that's the reasons i got.
Many people feel that skaters are rude and disrespectful. What to them may seem fun and playful can be seen by others as dangerous and inappropriate. Skaters in public areas can create a hazard for people, and damage public and private property, through their actions or by accident.
It's the same with almost any 'identifiable' group. People remember those skaters who have frightened or inconvenienced them, maybe by riding in the street, and assume that the whole group is just as 'bad'. because were kool
Most people don't hate cops. Lawbreakers hate cops and enemies of peaceful coexistence hate cops, but unfortunately they are a loud minority. Their lunacy is fun sensational media to get viewers to watch their station or to read their editorials. Outrage is all the rage it seems these days.
Cops do not hate us. They do everything they can to protect the people and maintain order among our democracy. Cops do not hate anybody; they only arrest people when they do something bad, or watch out for someone that might be a potential troublemaker. The cops do things for the greater good, not to harm us just because they hate us - and they don't hate us. It's a love/hate relationship between most people and cops. While many cops try to do an honest job and provide a good service for the community to keep things safe, many others abuse their position of power and act like bullies.
Because they have a history of bad cops
love and being rejected oh and they hate cops
love and being rejected oh and they hate cops
I don't think that cops "hate teens." Cops have a responsibility and promise to keep neighborhoods and communities from harm and trouble, and adolescents are at usually the ones getting themselves into trouble more often. Often, teens are disrespectful of authority and want they're independence, I know I do.
Well, I'm emo. :P Skaters don't really hate emo people, some of them are just jerks. They don't like how emos are different in ways and I think they're jealous in a way. Just sayin', I really admire skaters and a lot of them are my friends. There's your answer. ^^
Some love it, others hate it, others just don't care. Depends how the skaters act.
If skaters are on their property then yes but if we stay on the paths ( that they don't own ) we shouldn't get badly hated. I think people hate the steryotype of a skaters attitude more than anything. Anyone who agrees tell the world.
its just a skaters fashion
Pro hockey and speed skaters wear helmets but pro figure skaters don't.
