I posted the question yesterday and found the answer today! The key fob (remote) had worn out switch inside. It was the "unlock" switch! Every time I hit a bump or the key fob swung in the car while moving the weak spring in the switch would let the contacts close and unlock the doors and flash the park lights. I hope this helps anyone else with the same problem. I just need a new remote. No costly trip to the dealer to troubleshoot the problem.
