Probably just resting. Often, multiple male guppies follow a female until she's tired and mate with her. (Hints the reason why it is ideal to have more females than males) So since your females have no males to chase them, they are just, in simple terms, hangin' out.
Usually because there is no male to harass them and chase them throughout the tank. That, or they aren't at their healthiest. That doesn't mean they are sick.
they need to feel comfortable
What are guppies
yes.
Male guppies are considerably smaller than females of the same species.
Male guppies have a pointier anal fin and a bigger tail than the female and the female is larger than the male.
the male fish will protect the female if there are other fish. just make sure when your guppies have hatched, they are safe in a other tank.
Female guppies stay very plain to help with camouflage. Male guppies get color to attract females.
You do not say if the guppies are common guppies or fancy, also how many male and female guppies you have, yes as far as the snails and guppies go, one point to remember is the tank water should be above 72 degrees and some live floating plants for the guppies too hide in.
Guppies are livebearers. So they don't lay eggs. Male guppies WILL eat their own baby guppies. They will eat any baby guppy they see. It doesn't matter if it's their own or some other guppies'. Male and female guppies eat baby guppies.
I believe that female guppies can store male sperm in their bodies until the environment is just right and then they will use it to become pregnant at will.
guppies
I don't think so.
Yes that is enough. You usually want to keep a two to three female to one male ratio. The male will constantly try to breed with the females. If there was only one the female you get stressed out and die. So make sure to keep two to three females
