Why do fruit have lots of seeds?

to produce more of that fruit if the plant is killed or dies the seeds will disperse on the ground. each seed will go into the ground. But some seeds will not make it due to birds and other creatures.

Plants create fruit to spread their seeds. The bright colors and sweet tastes of fruit attract animals who spread the seeds contained in the fruit either by dropping/spitting out seeds or passing undigested seeds later in stool.
