Guys like "ugly" girls because those "ugly" girls don't hide behind a facade of makeup or peer pressure but show real personality and natural beauty.
But if you're talking about the girls who apply makeup as though they have just face planted in concealer or blush then I don't know. My opinion is that the image of fake and unrealistic girl is an easier target then a natural girl who is not afraid to show herself for who she is.
