Make sure the switch on the rear view mirror is turned off.

You can turn off the seatbelt warning light in your 2006 Ford Explorer, by buckling the seatbelts. When the seat is occupied the warning light will stay on until the seatbelt is buckled.
have you tried to change the alternator ? just a suggestion
Something is wrong with the charging system. Defective alternator would be my guess.
Did they used to go off with the ignition? On most cars, the headlights will come on at any time by just turning them on. The car does not need to be running or the key turned on.
even if you disconnect the battery the headlights stay on????????????? check the headlight switch
Headlights are not to stay on all the time, only front parking lights.
If the lights in your lock buttons remain on after the truck is powered off, you may have a problem with your fuse. It the light remaining on could be because you have an electrical problem in your Ford Explorer, as well.
