You have a problem with the EVAP system. Could be as simple as a loose or bad gas cap.
Your fuel cap may not be sealing properly.
The 2001 Mercury Sable does come with a CD player. If the car does not have a CD player in it, an install kit can be purchased to install a CD player.
Something is out of balance or the engine mountings are loose....get is checked out.

Open the hood of the engine compartment. Locate the light bulb connector on the back of the headlight. Take hold of the light bulb connector, push in and turn at the same time. The light bulb will come out.
