They still may have the urge after being fixed if the female is in heat, or goes into heat. Just because the male is fixed, doesn't mean he has lost the urge, or can't do it any more. All that has been removed is his nuts and sperm. Therefore, the male and female can still mate and get locked up, but can not get pregnant unless it is recently after the male has been fixed and he still has a little bit of sperm in his system.
Dogs sniff each other whether they are fixed or not. It's how they get to know the other dog better. Don't worry, it's casual like waving to a friend.
Female dogs when they are "on heat" (at the fertile point of their 6 month sexual cycle), release a pheromone that attracts male dogs sexually. This is why you see this reaction.
A male dog will hump anything, not just female dogs that are able to breed. But a female dog that has been fixed still has some of the smells that attract a male dog.
Most dogs sniff there back sides and they wouldn't bark at each other.
They will sniff each other but not for disease.
Dogs sniff things because this is how they find out about their environment. By smelling the telephone at the end of your street they can tell how many male dogs have peed on it. They can also tell what other kinds of animals have been in the area by smelling.
it could be a mistake but your dog is probably just defending its teretory unneuterd dogs are more agreasive
female dogs are 'bitches', male dogs are just 'dogs'
Yes, they can, one is trying to cover up the scent of the other dog. If you ever noticed that a male dog will sniff around before he raises his leg, and he is looking for the scent of other dogs in the area. It is the way that male dogs can smell the scent of a female dog, up to a mile away, and males will do whatever they can to get away and get to that female in heat.
Hades has always been a male god.
definantly the womans
Yes. They even played the womans parts.
The dogs will romp, and sniff at eachother's rears. Then the male will mount the female, and sometimes, will twist away from her, but still connected. If the breeding isn't planned, DO NOT pull the dogs apart. Just call your vet for the female's abortion if you want one. Water won't help separating them, just make them soggy doggies.Puppies will be born afterwords!
Male dogs can not go into heat.
Because they ARE male dogs. Have him neutered to control unwanted behaviors.
