Why do many Christians believe that after one died it is too late to repent and be forgiven when Jesus teachs to always forgive?

Yes Jesus always taught to forgive your enemies. But as we have only one life , it is not possible to repent after death and get away for your wrong doings and sinning.

No you should always ALWAYS forgive everyone. ___ From a scriptural standpoint, there might be, but only for God. God tells us that he will forgive who he chooses to forgive, but we are required to forgive everyone... which is tied in with being forgiven ourselves, so it is always a good idea.
