Not all men get over women so fast, but a known statistic is that when a woman meets a man and he cries a tiny bit, she can't do enough for him. Motherly instinct kicks in and before she knows it, she is the next woman in his life. IT's not the woman's fault, it's a part of their makeup that they do the things that men would never think to do. If a man saw a woman crying would he take her in his arms and assure her that all is ok, not likely, he may take her into his arms, sweet talk her till she stops crying, give her a few drinks and wisk her off to the nearest hotel, motel and not to comfort her, but to satisfy himself, and this comes from a man who knows what men are like so you can believe it.

∙ 14y agoI don't think it's possible to say that men in general get faster over breakups. If they do get over it faster, it means they weren't as emotionally bonded as the woman.
If you want to apply evolution psychology, you could say males get over it easier because evolution-technically seen their job is only to fertilize as many females as possible. However that explanation completely leaves out that men do have emotions and if they let a woman near the core of those, a breakup will still crush them just as much.
