Because as minorities, they know they cannot advance their own party unless they can convince others to do so with them, so they vote with whichever party conforms most to their interests or beliefs, which (in my opinion) is not-so-great since we must look to the good of EVERYONE in this country and especially our nation.

why can't you vote in the primary election for either a democrat or a republican if you register as a republican? would it not be better to register as a democrat and be able to vote either way than to register as a republican and be limited?
