No. Hip dysplasia is a genetic thing. It is inherited from the dam or sire or both. That is why it is important for ethical breeders to screen for this problem by OFA certifying their breeding stock before breeding. They should check for hip & elbow dysplasia with x-rays. Eating bad food will not cause this. You should feed a good name brand of dog food.
