mostly people hate us because of the stereotypical 'gypsy' name. if you arks most people what a gypsy is they will say something along the line of 'thief tramp, traveling pickpocket.' things like that. however you'll not be surprised to find that most have not done any research on are culture or way of life, and have most likely only had one or two encounters in which we may have been ether withdrawn of hot tempered (hostile, aggravated etc.) this is usually caused by someone giving an unwelcome look, or a racist remark
the hatred for us has come from centuries of racism and injustice.
when gypsies first began to appear in Europe most people found us to be ether entertaining or similar, they where generally amused by are makeshift items and such. (ie; pegs) however after a while people began to fear us (as they do with everything unknown or different.) it is believed that people with businesses feared that are knack with trade may overthrow them. also people disliked Gypsies then as it was extremely difficult to tax a gypsy as they moved so often.
people dislike us because we are outside the normal order of things.
