Their name, "Jehovah's Witnesses", is based on a Hebrew to English translation of the divine name from the Hebrew YHWH. So the name of the religion itself basically means "God's Witnesses". They do not believe The Bible teaches that Jesus is God but that he is a separate entity. They teach that he is God's son, the first thing God created, was sent to Earth to redeem mankind, was resurrected to heaven, and is king of God's heavenly kingdom. The rejection of the trinity doctrine has led some to believe that they do not believe in Jesus but that is a common misconception.

Another Answer: Jehovah's Witnesses do indeed believe in God, our almighty Creator and Life Giver. However, because we accept only doctrines which are based on the Bible, we do not believe Jesus is God, but is God's Son. This is not a confusing concept or a mystery, but a simple Bible truth.

Just a few of the many scriptures that back up the fact that Jesus is not God are: John 14:28; John 17:4-6; John 1:18; Psalm 110:1; Matthew 22:42-44; Mark 13:32; Matthew 24:36; 1 Corinthians 11:3; and 15:28.

Why do Jehovahs witnesses think they know God's ways better than other religions?

Most Jehovah's Witnesses would answer that they believe they "know God's ways better than (people of) other religions" because they believe that they have a more accurate understanding of the bible as a whole, and that the bible is the only reliable source of information as to "God's ways". Generally speaking most Jehovah's Witnesses would point to their knowledge of the Bible, God's personal name as revealed therein and their knowledge of God's standards for worship, as well as knowing God's purpose for the earth and mankind, as evidence that they know "God's ways" better than most people of other religions. They believe that diligent study of the bible reveals to all honesthearted people God's "ways" or desired standards, purpose and requirements but that while the Bible is available to all individuals regardless of their religion, Jehovah's Witnesses are of the mind that most other religions have allowed themselves to be influenced by non biblical teachings and man-made traditions which make learning about God's ways difficult. (Matthew 15:7-9; 2 Corinthians 4:3,4)

Are the Jehovah's witnesses connected with the Illuminati?

No, they are not. It is difficult to determine the true nature of what is or is not the Illuminati. But it is easy to differentiate between the Jehovah's Witnesses and most other religions. The Illuminati are considered to be a secretive society that believe in certain conspiracies. Jehovah's Witnesses hide no information on their beliefs and their official website shares all of their publications freely. There are no secrets to what Jehovah's Witnesses believe and if you have a question about their beliefs, they will happily answer them for you. Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians that believe that salvation for mankind is possible through the death of Jesus Christ, the son of Almighty God Jehovah.

How do Jehovahs witnesses earn a living?

Jehovah's Witnesses work to earn their living as anyone else would do. We have secular jobs just as most people do. We believe in honest work and providing for our selves and our family's. We would not however work jobs that would conflict with our Bible teaching. Such jobs may include strippers, military workers, gun manufacturer, casino dealers. The type of job would depend on a Witnesses discernment, prayer, and careful consideration of Bible principles.
