The answer is, you can't make a generalization about ALL feminists. I am a feminist and I shave my legs. I also don't shave my head. Shock Horror I know.
Some feminists don't however because they believe in not conforming to an image that modern society (dominated by men) wants us to believe is beautiful. Why don't men shave their legs? Surely the issue of body hair is down to personal preference rather than being doomed to suffer the painful process of waxing just because you were born with a vagina?
And just in case you were wondering, the correct phrasing is "Why don't some feminists shave their legs?".
