Because they're stupid. they think because it's "loud" it will make us angry and influence us to do bad things. I believe this is totally false. Rock is not loud at all conpared to the stuff that i listen to, which is punk and hardcore. And there is even louder Music Genres than that. its all a matter of perspective i think.
