Why do people believe in god and cheat?

First of all let me compliment you with your question and I might say your question did happened to me a few years ago from the man I marry. First I will tell you that a long time ago I did admired this man for his faith and belief when it comes to religion. He is Protestant and I am a catholic, but this didn't matter to me because I do know we only have one God. Why did I admired him, because he told me he wanted to be a Preacher and express his love to God by talking to the men he work with ( Navy). knowing this I didn't need to ask questions because he is one of those men who love God and to me that is pure and good hearted person, but unfortunately he betrayed me after promising that he will never look at another woman as long as he knows I will be waiting for him. But he did and his own explanation was we weren't married then and he realized that after meeting a few women from other country, my faith was a little better. In short knowing how good he is being a christian I don't need to know what he did behind my back because were not married yet.

One thing though the answer to your question is, it doesn't matter if we believed in god or not, but when it comes to our own lust and excitement we will always know that God will always forgive us no matter what kind of sin we do or will be doing. It sad because this is the man who loves to read or talk about our holy bible, and dying for me to find a family church so we have a place to go to if and when we have problems. with our life. This is a man who loves to attend Sunday mass and teach or preach ,military men so they know that god will always be there for them. Unfortunately he was the one who set aside and closed the door in God's face because he met a woman on a dating site that made him feel alive being a man. This woman is also a good Christian that goes to church every Sunday and Tuesday. I did found out his weakness when it comes to what can make him feel alive, a woman who goes to church and can sit with him and discuss about religion and The Bible.

Your not the only one who have this question, lots of women or people do. Don't get me wrong but I also hurt him but can't really ask God I need to close the door on him so I can have what I want.
