Because God created every thing that you see, smell, touch, taste, and even you. People know that God created the heavens and the earth and that he created love, friends, peace, and joy. If you defile him and you go to hell instead of heaven you don't get those things. for example if you heat somthing up, at some point it has to cool, well the same thing is with God. If he created all the good things, bad things have to happen sooner or later. so you lose the love and peace and friends.
