Why do people hate hetalia?

People hate Hetalia because of its historical inaccuarcies (don't mind how I spell please..) , and how offensive it is to the world's history. Like Italy being a coward and all cute and "cuddly" when infact was one of the big countries of the gruesome Axis during the World Wars. To me, it'd better of stay as a webcomic or at least lay off the history. Also because of the fandom and the yaoi/Yuri/fanservice that the show has brought. And don't forget the dreadful Fangirls. They're everywhere, so hide yo continents, hide yo countries, hide yo micronations, cuz them fangirls be rapin' everybody/thing out there! And some stereotypes are WRONG. Such as Cuba, not many Cubans are tan although there are a few that are, the majority are fairly pale-skinned. The list goes on and on, but the bottom line would be is that there is no plot, and the history is EVERYWHERE and out of order. Not to mention that some of it is wrong (it's as if the maker used Wikipedia as a direct and reliable source). Although some say it promotes world peace, I find it rubbish as countries are portrayed as "handsome" "sweet" and would never hurt a fly. Well maybe not a fly, but each other.

It is overated, how so? Because so much commotion is put over 5 minutes. And to see that one volume of a APH DVD is 34 bucks at least? (US money, sorry) Pfft they're INSANE! ~This wasn't meant to be a rant, but most people look at Hetalia this way.
