It is physically impossible to pull any suspended medium tightly enough to get it perfectly straight. The force needed to pull any given length of power line between two poles tight enough to leave no drop by far exceeded the amount of force needed to snap that line in two. The effect of gravity upon that line cannot be overcome.
Actually there is a great deal of tension, caused by the weight of the conducting wires. To get them taught [no apparent sag] would require much more reinforcing of the utility poles and insulators. It's much better to just space them out so that when they swing, they will not touch each other or surrounding objects.
The cable expands, so the lines may be observed to droop on excessively hot days. Conversly, the line tension has to be designed so they don't get too taught on cold days
Transmission lines
Electrical transmission towers are what holds power lines up. These towers are made of steel and have an openwork lattice design.

Droop CT is used to control load sharing of the reactive power b/w paralleled generators.

Power stations use step-up transformers to transmit power at a high voltage instead of a high current. This reduces the power lost in the transmission lines.
Droop setting is a feature in control systems that allows multiple generators to operate in parallel while sharing a load proportionally. It adjusts the speed and power output of each generator to maintain stability and balance the load. Droop settings help prevent one generator from taking on too much load and ensure a more even distribution of power among multiple generators.

Increase filter capacitors. Series inductors Semiconductor regulator 3 phase lines instead of single phase
The answer is yes they can touch one another when there on power lines
the power steering is leaking were the lines run inside the boot on the driver side
No
because the lightning hits the the power lines and electricity runs through power lines
The power steering lines run between the power steering pump and the rack and pinion.
