There are many website that are great for grade school research. A giant rule of thumb, however, is to avoid WikiPedia. While most of the information is accurate and factual, it's always been a frowned on source for research (some college professors will even reject your research paper for using just a tiny bit of WikiPedia).

Most of the time. Others don't think so either their lazy to read or it's their opinion. But most are answered by collage students, nerds, geeks, professors, teachers, or journalists. (Maybe journalists). I'm sure everyone has used Wikipedia before, and none of their answers are wrong; they make sure of that. It has helped many, including Google for extra info. Very helpful when doing homework, research, or curious about things. THANK YOU WIKIPEDIA!
