Wild rabbits like grass because it's sweet, nutritious, and high in fibre. Pet rabbits like fresh grass too, but it's not as good for them as hay (dried grass), because fresh grass can have parasites on it, and dried grass is higher in fibre. Other from grass, wild rabbits eat other things high in fibre, like twigs and woody weeds; because pet rabbits don't eat these things as often as wild rabbits, hay is better for them than fresh grass. Hay should be available in unlimited amounts (just like grass is for wild rabbits) so that pet rabbits can "graze" on and off all day long (just like wild rabbits do -- grazing is a natural rabbit behaviour, and all pets are happier and healthier when they're allowed to engage in natural behaviours). See the related question below for more info about a healthy pet rabbit diet.
grass
Any rabbits like to eat plants like grass but vegetables such as carrots and lettuces are also part of the diet. Rabbits often require this to stay healthy, as grass is a poor source of energy and vitamins.
Wild rabbits do eat grass they also eat plants and berries as a treat! PET RABBITS eat dried grass -- hay. Hay has a lot more fibre than fresh grass, so it's better than fresh grass for pet rabbits. Pet rabbit can also get parasites from fresh grass, so it's best not to feed it to them. Pet rabbits get their fresh nutrients from other plants -- dark-coloured greens like lettuces (like Romaine), weeds (like dandelion), herbs (like basil), and root vegetable tops (like carrot greens).Umm well yes rabbits do eat grass they also eat mostly all kinds of veggiesanswered by Jessica Love

Grass is good for rabbits and so is dandilions and dandilion leaves. You have to be careful when buying dried out grass as it can cause their bowels to block up.
