because they are not awsome swimers.and they let the sea carry them where every the sea takes them that's where they go.& they use there tails to pull on kelp stop them from moving.
It saves energy and makes it harder for a predator to spot them. Win-win for the seahorse.
Yes, they swim very slowly

It basically means "Wait" or "Slow down".It comes from the context of horse-driven vehicles (carriages and coaches): meaning to hold the horses steady so they don't move and move the vehicle around.
Sea horses are so shy because they are wild. Wild animals are not use to seeing people wander around.
yes it is so slow but it travel farb distance
Some things that prey on sponges are sea turtles, crustaceans, fish, and echinoderms. Sponges move so slow that they cannot avoid being eaten.
While Sea Anemone's appear slow, they are actually moving at a rate so fast it is not perceivable to the human eye.
Most of the time they get around by the current, so they are not that fast, it depends on the current
I was just visiting a friends house, and for the first time, we have seen 2 sea horses. (He lives near the water) They were both about 3 inches long. So yes, there are sea horses in the shallow water, but i doubt youll see them on the beaches.

Gravity...or so i have been told...
Because they move material in the same fashion as a bulldozer--with a great deal of force and plucking.
