Because it's true. A semi truck is one big blind spot going down the road, and the only possible way we can see behind us is to look in our mirrors.
Because the light follows the same angle, coming or going.
Some say that it is because they lack a soul. Others believe that they do have a reflection but can't bear to see what they have become.

1. for a car/truck, you can either purchase a full pair, or the circle ones that stick on your car window. not only does it help for use of a blind spot (mostly with trucks) but its the state laws now to have them on your mirrors if your back window on your car is tinted 25% and under. they say its so you can see 1/4 of the car that's driving behind you. 2. A make up case that has two sided mirrors

Many truckers believe the Cascadia gets the best mpg. I hear truckers say they get about 7 mpg on the open road with them.http://www.freightlinertrucks.com/trucks/find-by-model/cascadia/default.aspx

You need to be more specific. In the Northeast USA and especially New York It's a safe bet to say NO YOU CAN'T. In fact in NY, Parkways are restricted to Cars, Motorcycles, SUV's and Light Weight Pick up trucks only. Commercial Vehicles such as: Larger (over 5000 gvw) Pick up trucks, Campers, anything towing a trailer, semi's, dump trucks, box trucks like U-Haul Trucks, Pensky, Ryder rental trucks are prohibited. Few of the parkways have bridges that meet the 13' height rule. In other words, most box trucks, semi's and trailers will NOT make it under the bridges. When in doubt, contact the local State Police in the area you are traveling in and they can tell you exactly. There maybe an exception on the Belt Parkway, because of the people that live in Sheepshead Bay need to get their boats out. I'm trying to find out an offcial word though
As there is no such word as fulls, you would say, "I am shipping six trucks full" or six trucks. There is really no need for the word full.
Buying used semi trucks can be somewhat of a gamble. Online communication and advertising have made the process easier. Here are a few ideas to consider when buying used semi trucks.Currently there are a great selection of used semi trucks on the market. The major brands available in the United States are Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, International, Mack, Sterling, Western Star, or Volvo. Among these Peterbilts and Kenworths are usually the most expensive used vehicles, with Western Stars following a close third.Used semi trucks are a business tool, but they will sometimes be the truck-drivers home for weeks. The prospective buyer must measure price, form, function, and comfort against each other. The trucks with flashy lights and a huge sleeper are status symbols and comfortable but the economy of operation and initial price must be considered. Weight is a factor, the less the truck weighs the more freight the truck can carry and the greater the potential earnings. The larger sleepers with small kitchen appliances can allow savings on meals and add to resale value however. Aerodynamically designed trucks usually get better mileage and can increase the profit margin. Auxiliary power units are almost a necessity in some states due to no-idle pollution laws.As with any major purchase buyer beware, this is not to say all used trucks are lemons, far from it. Used semi trucks have the same items to consider when purchasing as other used vehicles.• Are maintenance, repair, and overhaul documents available?• Does something in the vehicle give warning signs that does not conform to vehicle history? Does the driver’s seat wear correspond with the odometer reading?• Does it appear the vehicle might have been in an accident but the dealer or owner denies it? Signs of an undisclosed accident may be mismatched paint color or mismatched gloss on portions of the vehicle.• If possible, drive the vehicle as it will be driven after purchase. In the case of a semi truck, this means a test drive with a trailer behind the truck.Buying used semi trucks may be a daunting proposition at first but with planning and the proper questions, the semi will reward the owner with years of use.
