a TRUE CHRISTIAN does not hate Muslims. to be a christian is to be CHRIST like & he loved everyone. if someone proclaims to be a christian but hates Muslims they need to reevaluate their relationship with CHTIST!!
They don't it is sometimes they don't get along so well.

Answer:

A good Christian and a good Muslim will get along very well as individuals. However, while we Muslims have been taught to honor Christians by the Qur'an whcih says that the people who are the closest to us in love and compassion are the Christians, the Catholic Church (and now the evangelicals) have always made derogatory remarks about Islam, Muslims and Muhammad. The reason? Because many people who read the Qur'an recognize it as the truth, and they become Muslims.

The Qur'an explains that Jesus is the Messiah - but that his true message was not Trinitarianism. His true message was the same as Moses and Muhammad: onlt God is to be worshipped. God is only One. Jesus also foretold Muhammad. In the Gospel of John we read of "the Comforter". The Church has said that the Comforter is the Holy Spirit. The Gospel was changed to reflect that idea. But a careful reading of it makes it clear that Jesus was speaking of a human being, not the Holy Spirit.

Google the words "Muhammad in The Bible" and see what you get.

So the Church has always been threatened by the message of Muhammad. It is a matter of power. That is why it has always tried to make Christians fear and hate Islam.

AnswerActually, any Christian who claims to 'hate' anyone, whether Muslim or not, is not doing the will of God, neither is that person being faithful to Christ's teaching.

The answers on this page add fuel to the fire of hatred bbetween Muslims and Christians. To say that the Church is 'threatened' by Islam is as inflammatory as and risible as saying that once one reads the Qur'an one automatically becomes a Muslim.

The fact is that both Muslims and Christians worship the same God. Muslims regard Mohammed as God's final prophet and also regard Jesus as a prophet. But also both Christians and Muslims regard God as one God to be worshipped whether Trinitarian or not.

The crux of the matter is this: Muslims are taught that Christians are the closest to Muslims in compassion and belief. Similarly Christ taught Christians that we are to love God, but also to love one another, whether Christian or Muslim. Sadly, there are far too many Christians who arrogantly refuse to do this, and, though never ashamed of Christ and my faith as a Christian, I sometimes am ashamed of some Christians who look down their noses at any non-Christian - or even other Christians who have slightly differing beliefs to them.

Thereforein answer to your question the only Christians who hate Muslims are those who are bigoted and prejudiced enough to do so. But don't think that all Chrstians are like this, because they are not. In the same way that only a tiny minority of Muslims are fundamentalist terrorists, only a small minority of Christians are bigots. You will find that most will follow Christ's teaching and treat you as a fellow brother, and, as a response to God's love for them, share that same love with you.

Do Christians hate Muslims?A complete answer is not possible due to varying opinions when it comes to faith. No complete nor even a correct answer or consensus is possible within the realm of this or likely any forum.

However a couple of ground points are as follows.

The History of the two faiths' adversarial positions is great and long. There have been many wars, desecration, insults and arguments originating from both sides over the past millennium. Generally focused around ownership and control of a religious homeland common to many faiths. The historical armed conflicts between east and west along with current events and inherited prejudices predispose the stage for further conflict and negative opinions on the part of both.

One should bear in mind that both of these religions are monotheistic. Monotheism by definition, believes in only one Single God and or one Savior, This singular faith hierarchy can readily extend too prophets and proposed heirs. Text or opinions that differ from the faith's central beliefs and codified prophecy may justly in faith be met with rejection, disdain, with little tolerance or worse. Structurally one can not promote respect for another faith or a diversity of belief systems.

Both Islam and Christianity as well as Judaism all are dedicated to belief in the same One God and much text prophecy is common to all while others are exclusive to it's own. They all seek the same god through different religious schools of faith.

Cultivated exclusivity can often lead to a less than positive view of persons practicing other religions. The devout may perceive the others as false gods or false prophets, misguided or even agents of evil. They may be considered sinners or certainly not of the chosen by no reason other than that they practice a different religion.

An accepted negative view of others can predispose the human psyche to then be moved onto stronger emotions such as hate.

Hate often finds a home in the emotions of people when there is a lack of respect, tolerance and understanding for the beliefs of others.

More InputIt is also true that what is believed and practiced by one group of Christians or of Muslims is not necessarily believed and practiced the same way by all other groups of the same faith. We must all be alert to the reality that there are extremist and terrorist groups in any religion, and these groups do not define the religion or the faith. Those who engage in acts of extreme violence or terror do not advance the best and purest teachings and practices of the religions they claim to represent. All peace loving people of any faith have to be ready to abandon prejudice and hatred that is so easy to accept in light of current events.

Why do Muslims say they do not hate Christians when they kill them all over the world and then celebrate it?

You are referring to two different groups of people. Some Muslims hate Christians. They kill them all over the world and then celebrate it. Other Muslims would never dream of killing anyone. Those are the Muslims who say they do not hate Christians - because they don't.

Can Christians and Muslims agree to hate Jews?

Simply stated, no.

Do Jews Christians and Muslims all hate each other?

Muslims do a pretty fair job of demonstrating hatred of non-Muslims. Jews do not hate Muslims yet, but Islam is working on that. Of course, this is not an indictment of all Muslims. It is only a minority that acts out its hate. But in terms of civilization and its survival, the peaceul majority are irrelevant.

Why does Obama and other Muslims hate American Christians?

First, President Obama is not a Muslim. He has never been a Muslim. And contrary to internet myths, he was not raised a Muslim nor did he attend any Muslim schools. He was raised to respect all religions, and he did live for four years in a majority-Muslim country (Indonesia), but there is NO credible evidence that he is a Muslim. He was mainly raised by his maternal grandparents, and they were Christians. It is thus factually incorrect to say he hates Christians-- he IS a Christian. He attends church with his family. His children were baptized. Several of his closest confidants are ministers; he also has friends who are rabbis and priests. And as for the rest of your question, no Mr. Obama does not hate America, nor does he hate American Christians (or any other kinds of Christians). You may have heard this sort of claim on a talk show, but there is no evidence to support it. And regarding Muslims, it's really not helpful to stereotype them. As with Christians, there are all kinds-- some are religious, some are moderate, some are old-fashioned, some are modern. I live in a city where Muslims have resided for more than 100 years; they love this country, pay their taxes, send their kids to school, go to work, and they are Americans in every way. Of course, it is true that there are some extremist Muslims (Osama Bin Laden comes to mind) who have hated America and hated Christians (and Jews and other non-Muslims); and yes there are some imams in a number of majority-Muslim countries who have preached against America. But that does not mean ALL Muslims feel that way. I have known many Muslims over the years, and have not found that they "hate American Christians." Please do not confuse the acts of a comparatively small number of fanatics with how every Muslim feels. It is always the extremists who get on the news, but they do not represent the average Muslim: most Muslims that I've met just want their beliefs to be respected. But they don't in any way hate yours, whatever those beliefs may be.
