Yes because we would soon runs out of oil or mineral resources. Antarctica is also our water supply in another 50 years or so. As you know our body is made up of 75% water. We can survive 1 week without food but only 3 days without water.
Becuase they use it for oils, gases, coal and so on. We use these in everyday life and just think what would we do without them. :)
