There is a large misconception that all Pitbulls are evil and dangerous, especially to children. The truth is that animals were all originally wild animals at some point - they weren't created domestic in the beginning of time. Therefore, all animals and all dog breeds have wild roots and wild instincts below their domesticated learnings. Any breed of dog or any animal can be dangerous. The truth is, there are many Pitbulls that are not as dangerous as others and it has a lot to do with the environment the dog was raised in, its treatment from its owner, and so forth. Since Pitbulls are commonly used in dogfights, this creates an animal that is psychologically damaged and can and will be a dangerous animal even when not fighting. This is why people seem to hate Pitbulls so much over other breeds of dogs.
