Why do some people say that being addicted to drugs is better than to love someone?

- Only an unintelligent person would say that being addicted to a drug or drugs is better than to love someone. Certainly loving someone can bring certain people pain, but pain is part of life and all drugs manage to do is cover the pain (person is in a stupor,) but eventually the drugs will take its toll on the body and the person is left with poor health; loss of brain cells and eventually death.
